- Location Data: Your current location (GPS) — to show nearby workshops and parts stores, and to pinpoint merchant locations on the map. You may optionally enable background location tracking to automatically calculate driving distance (odometer feature).
- Photos and Media: Photos you upload of car parts or maintenance requests.
- Audio Recordings: Voice notes you record to describe your request.
- Vehicle Data: Car brand, model, year, odometer reading — to provide personalized maintenance tracking.
- Usage Data: Your interactions with the app (taps, pages visited) — to improve the user experience.
- Business Data (Merchants): Business name, address, specialties, working hours.

3. Background Location
The Dawwr customer app offers an optional background location tracking feature. This is used solely to calculate driving distance automatically and update the car's odometer reading. It is only activated with explicit user consent and can be disabled at any time from the maintenance settings.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share limited data in the following cases:
- Between Customers and Merchants: When sending a request or quote, necessary information (name, phone number, request details) is shared with the other party.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services for data hosting and push notifications (secure cloud servers).
- Legal Requirements: If required by law.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Car maintenance data (odometer, parts log) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
- We take reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

- Access: You can request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: You can update your data through account settings.
- Deletion: You can request account and data deletion by contacting us.
- Withdraw Consent: You can disable location and notification permissions from your device settings at any time.
